A Dawg with a Blog

As an aspiring writer with a lot of opinions, this is not the first time I’ve considered starting a blog. This is, however, the first time I’m ever actually writing a blog entry. Why now? I honestly couldn’t tell ya. Maybe it’s because I’m going on month 5 of unemployment, maybe it’s because I just moved back into my parents’ house (for reasons I won’t get into quite yet), or maybe it’s because all my other creative outlets and hobbies are still packed away in my parents’ garage because unpacking is my literal kryptonite and I’m refusing to do it. More than likely it’s because I’m bored right now and none of my friends are texting me back, but that’s okay. This blog is my friend now (not in a depressing way but in a super cute, empowering, Carrie Bradshaw-esque way (except I haven’t actually seen the entirety of Sex in the City so if she’s actually wacky that’s not what I mean)). Anyway, welcome to my blog. I’m glad you’re here and I can’t wait to see what we get up to. Chat soon.
